25.06.2022 As Carla Barbero points out in the exhibition text, ¨Textile appliqués on paintings, items of clothing, a display of weaving techniques and phrases from pop hits... Lionti’s work uses manual labor and craft with everyday materials to critique aspirational consumerism.¨ Catalogs, tests, logos are mixed with the school and labor imaginary. Lionti confronts, in Barbero’s words, “visual aspects with ethical ones”. In this way, she not only dialogues with the local artistic tradition but also interrogates a present marked by the unsettling transformation of life into work. The exhibition presents a sentimental and at the same time ironic look at the coexistence of play with language, the time invested in weaving and the emotional memory of learning spaces.

17.11.2024 “El Baptisterio de los colores”, installation by the group Mondongo, among other artworks of theirs, are on view as part of the show “Sin título” at its new home Arthaus. This “work-architecture” erected in the manner of a Pantone made of plasticine calls us to invent, in community, a new liturgy of color.
