31.05.2023 On display, in the main space, is an installation titled Salir del surco al labrar la tierra: delirios de grandeza II [Leaving the Furrow When Tilling the Soil: Delusions of Grandeur II], and in the second room is Proto, una película de Gabriel Chaile [Proto, a film by Gabriel Chaile] an installation in the form of a film consisting of a poster, a synopsis and a series of ten paintings. In dialogue and concurrently with the gallery exhibition is a special commission for the High Line New York entitled, The wind blows where it wishes. The title of the show, Time, Times, and Half a Time [Será por un tiempo, tiempos, la mitad de un tiempo], is derived from a biblical reference that is neither fortuitous nor mechanical. A spirit, a manifestation of the kind of otherness that surpasses and mobilizes living beings, prophetically signals a time free of tears and without pain. The language becomes an object in the hands of an artist who revisits and renews forms previously subjugated as a message of emancipation.
