08.11.2025 Is it possible to think about La Chola’s work beyond the frameworks that have so far structured the biography she herself has narrated and constructed? Now that she is established within the context of contemporary art, are the stories of Guaymallén, her arrival in Buenos Aires, and her transition from a socially normed sex to a versatile sexuality no longer sufficient? Can we unlearn what we know and look at her work with new eyes?
